Application for accreditation as a refrigeration technician

Summary

Are you a refrigeration technician? Are you planning to work on installations containing fluorinated refrigerants?

In Europe, technicians working on installations containing fluorinated gases (e.g.: R134a) or natural alternatives (e.g.: CO2) must have a European certificate.

These certificates are available upon successful completion of a certification course (CAT I, II, III or IV) at a recognised training centre.

The purpose of these certificates is to ensure that installations containing fluorinated gases or natural alternatives comply with requirements and that personnel working on these installations have the necessary skills.

These European certificates or approvals are granted by the Walloon Air and Climate Agency.
